Eyeliner: With or Without Wings?

A huge ol’ wing! right here I’m using the MAC Maleficent collection
Hmm… That’s a great question.

Well, I normally like my liner with a bit infant wing, however often for a lot more remarkable looks I’ll “go there” as well as do those crazy bat wings that look like they might take off into outer space, like in a Red Bull commercial. “Eyeliner provides you wings!”

Most of the time, though, I like a teeny kitten flick. One, since I feel like if I’m not doing huge ol’ false lashes as well as BAM! eyes as well as BAM! lips, it won’t overtake my face. as well as two, since it’s technically much easier for me, since with huge liner you’re dealing with, you know, a lot more product as well as longer lines, as well as you gotta get the wings correct, as well as there’s always something that goes wrong (for me at least). Something always goes wrong. So I like a small bit kitty flick.

And I normally like it in black, as well as I’ll vary what I have on my lower lash line. often it’s black, often it’s MAC Powersurge, often it’s a beige eyeliner on the water line to open up the eyes.

It depends upon exactly how I’m feeling that day.

So I assumption in terms of my general eyeliner philosophy, you might say, “It takes all kinds.” I go with phases, where often I’ll be loving on a specific formula, like gel or kohl or…

Oh, hai, eyeliner!
Right meow my thing is a black kohl liner smudged securely along the upper lash line as well as inner water line, as well as you gotta truly get it down around the base/roots. Either the kohl liner drawn out to a bit wing, or with a gel liner on top, as well as then with black powder eyeshadow smudged along the edges of that liner to keep it from looking as well crisp. Lately I’ve been loving the concept of softer, kind of hazy liner.

How about you? Do you normally take your liner with or without wings, as well as what’s your general eyeliner philosophy?
