It’s the fantastic Pumpkin! Quick, somebody tell Charlie Brown!

Every autumn there’s this outside buying center called the Marin country Mart in the close-by town of Larkspur that has these big pumpkins on display.

They aren’t for touching, or for sale, but smaller ones are.

Actually, they aren’t to buy either, so to speak. They’re on the honor repayment system. You just take the pumpkin you want, and then leave your repayment in a bit box. The costs are based on pumpkin size and listed on a board.

That exact same location also holds Off the Grid, which are these elegant traveling food trucks that are a thing right here in the Bay area (I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before).

I went last weekend for lunch with El Hub and my bit brother. this time around all of us had Vietnamese combination from the bit eco-friendly Cyclo truck.

Mine was fresh rice vermicelli with an egg on top, wonderful potato tater tots and a coconut water to drink…

Kinda craving that again right now, can’t lie.
