Gel polish for getaway

A quickie post to show off my freshly painted gel nail polish!

The shade I got is called #117 Strawberry Kiss from the brand Bio Seaweed Gel.  I like getting gel nail polish applied at the beauty salon when I’m going on getaway – I never bring along nail polish or remover with me so I’d rather have something that will last me a long time.  It cost me $30 for a manicure and polish application and will last at least 2 weeks with no chips.

Do you ever wear gel polish?

PS. I’ll be on getaway starting tomorrow – the SO stocked up on 3 bags of beef jerky so we’re all set for our road trip! If you are interested in my adventures, follow me on instagram (@stashmatters) where I’ll be posting pictures from the trip!  See ya!

At-home gel polish removalI’ve never attempted get polish removal by myself before – I’ve always gone back to the beauty salon where I had the gel polish applied and paid the $10 to have someone else to soak off them for me.  I was curious in trying to remove them myself and found this wikihow…
